Who we are

Our clothing and accessories are created with consideration for the environment, the individuals involved in their production, and Malaysian cultural traditions.

Sustainability

Discovering innovative solutions to produce eco-friendly craft products by upcycling cotton and linen from luxury hotels into beautiful batik, repurposing event banners, and utilizing felt materials sourced from various events. Additionally, we incorporate natural raw materials such as mengkuang and pandanus in our collection of woven products.

Artisan Communities

Every product is crafted by diverse communities and workshops throughout Malaysia. Our vast network of talented artisans features traditional batik makers and mengkuang weavers in Terengganu, alongside skilled tailors from refugee communities in Kuala Lumpur.

Handmade Batik

Terengganu Batik is a celebrated Malaysian textile art, known for its vibrant colors, intricate motifs, and meticulous handwork. Unlike printed fabrics, Terengganu batik is created through traditional techniques such as canting (hand-drawn wax) and block printing, where artisans apply hot wax to fabric before dyeing it in rich natural hues. This centuries-old craft reflects the cultural heritage of Terengganu’s coastal communities, where batik making continues to thrive as both an art form and a livelihood.

Mengkuang

Mengkuang weaving is a traditional Malaysian craft that uses the leaves of the mengkuang plant (screw pine) to create woven mats, baskets, and accessories. The leaves are harvested, dried, and dyed before being intricately woven into geometric patterns that showcase both artistry and patience. Practiced for generations in villages across Malaysia—especially in the East Coast—mengkuang weaving remains an important symbol of cultural heritage and sustainable craftsmanship.
